Terms of service

These terms apply to teachers and institutes who use TeachPro to run an online academy. By creating an account you agree to them.

What we provide

Software for publishing courses, running live classes, selling access and taking payments, under your own branding. We provide the platform; the teaching, the content and the relationship with your students remain yours.

What you are responsible for

• Owning, or having the right to use, everything you upload.
• What you promise your own students, including your own refund terms.
• Keeping your login credentials to yourself.
• Complying with the law where you and your students are.

What is not allowed

• Uploading material you do not have the rights to.
• Using the platform to mislead students about what they are buying.
• Attempting to reach another institute's data.
• Reselling access to the platform itself.

Fees

Your plan fee and any share of sales are set out on the pricing page and in your account. We will tell you before either changes. Payments from your students settle to your own payment account.

Your content

It stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to host it and deliver it to your students. If you close your account, you can take it with you.

Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and will say why. On closure we keep records the law requires and delete the rest.

Liability

We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will never be interrupted. Our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
